Using 100% Alpaca fibres, you will not find a throw as soft and lightweight as our Baby Alpaca Throws. The blend of several colours gives these designs a lovely bright and colourful expression. From the neutrals to mixing contrasts.

Contrary to what one might think, the term Baby Alpaca has nothing to do with the animal's age, but simply names how thin and flexible the fibre is. The alpaca fibres are carefully divided into different categories depending on their fineness. The finer and thinner the fibre, the higher the quality.

Despite their lightweight, baby alpaca throws are warm because of their special air-filled fibres. These Alpaca Throws are made from the fleece of Alpaca from the Andes Mountains in Peru, where the processing of the fibre is a craft passed down through generations.
